Musical Opportunities

Our members are passionate about hearing Jewish music, and our musicians love to sing and play the music of our people. If you want to play an active role in creating the music our congregation loves to hear, we have a place for you!

Kol Simchah (Voice of Joy) is our Youth Choir comprised of 2nd-6th graders. We meet every JLC Sunday throughout the school year to prepare for Matzah Ball Shabbat, develop a stronger Jewish musical background, and have fun! If your child is interested in participating in Kol Simchah, please contact Cantor McKenzie.

Jam Band is for those who have aged out of Kol Simchah and are interested in continuing to connect musically. We work on both jewish ands ecular music and the level of the group depends on who is interested. Our Jam Band also performs at Matzah Ball Shabbat and other occasions throughout the year. BJBE Adult Choir is an important addition to our High Holiday experience at BJBE. Members who participate in this choir have a unique opportunity to enrich the heart and soul of our congregation.

BJBE Multigenerational Choir is comprised of the Adult and Junior Choirs that come together during some services and events throughout the year to enhance our worship experience. Contact our Clergy Assistant Hannah Ciechomski if you are interested in singing with us!
